What diving equipment should I buy if I’m a novice diver?
Most experts recommend that a mask, snorkel and fins be the first items purchased by a beginning diver. Most other equipment can be rented when needed.
Is diving equipment expensive?
Oxygen tanks and regulators are often the most expensive items. Steel scuba tanks can run well over 400 dollars. Aluminum tanks, however, can be purchased for slightly less.
What is commercial diving?
Commercial diving is a specialized field. These divers are trained to work underwater in a number of different functions ranging from oil exploration to salvage operations.
