Commercial diving

Commercial diving is a specialized field that requires a great deal of training. A commercial diver can be hired for anything from salvage operations to underwater oil exploration. They are also hired for infrastructure projects such as bridge maintenance.

Many commercial diving companies send their divers to foreign countries to work. This offers a great chance to explore other cultures while performing a job that you love. These jobs often offer higher pay due to the travel and job requirements.

If commercial diving sounds like an ideal career, there are schools that can give you the necessary training. This training generally involves classes in diving physics, underwater rigging fundamentals, and oil field diving. These schools usually offer employment assistance for those that finish the courses.
